Tier 0/1/2 Disk

AVM Cloud offers 3 different tiers of storage.
L2 Link
–
Layer 2 (L2) links are available for customers who subscribes for DR services. It is most often used to transfer data between the primary & secondary datacentre
Object Storage (S3)

Object Storage is a storage which manipulates and manages data storage as granular units known as objects.
Network & Security
Content Delivery Network
–
AVM Cloud subscribes to a CDN (Content Delivery Network) services that spans its’ coverage around the world with the capabilities to provide content locally to its’ users.
Fortigate Firewall (Virtual)
–
Fortigate Firewall creates an impeccable firewall to protect customer’s infrastructure within AVM Cloud.
Deep Security and Anti-malware
–
AVM cloud is an operator of PAAS which includes management of services up to the OS level, including managing the security of the OS from patching it to protect against vulnerability or malware.
Agentless Anti-Malware
–
Similar protection without deploying agents in the VM, suitable for smaller and isolated workload/VM.
Global Server Load Balancing
–
AVM cloud deploys a multi-zone load balancer that can direct traffic between KL and Cyberjaya data centres based on customer’s requirement.
NSX Load Balancing and Firewall
–
Customers also can select basic firewall services if the security requirement is only limited to that particular VM.
DDOS Protection
–
For customers who subscribed to a dedicated link from the telco and require clean pipe to the internet with DDOS protection, the service is available from the price list.
Co – Location
Full Rack or Partial Rack
–
For customers who have their own physical equipment, for example Hardware Security Module, AVM cloud provide co-location services.
Smart Hand
–
Tenants that have physical hardware in the co-location services that may need assistant in a break-fix scenario; they can subscribe to this service which the data centre staff on-site can assist in receiving the RMA part, swap out the faulty part, and replace the faulty part.
Data Protection Services
Snapshot Service
–
Snapshot is a data protection feature that the external storage, at a point in time, will copy the data in the storage that can be recovered or restored in the event of any data corruption or deletion that affect the services.
Backup VM and Capacity
–
Customers can request for managed backup services for any VM that is provisioned in the cloud.
Replication Service
–
For customers who wish to selectively nominate VM to be replicated to the alternate data centre for data protection, they can subscribe to replication services.
Fusion Backup/Replication
–
This is AVM hybrid cloud offering, which provides customers with on-prem infrastructure to enjoy backup and replication to the cloud.
Office 365 Backup
–
Fusion is also able to provide customer the backup and retention copies for their content in their O365 subscription, including email, sharepoint and onedrive.
Managed Services
Managed firewall
–
AVM cloud is a PaaS (Platform As A Service) service provider, we can provide service to manage up to the OS level, in terms of security, OS patching and backup recovery.
Managed OS, Backup & DR
–
Tenants can subscribe to this service and offload their own IT personnel from the operation task of managing, monitoring OS, backup and DR of the VM in their AVM VPC subscription.
Managed Cyber Security
–
Customers also can request for services for SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) for each of the security devices in their infrastructure.

DBaaS (SQL as a service)

Customers can subscribe to Database as a service, the services are available for MS SQL database and MariaDB at the moment with other relational databases and NoSQL databases planned in the future.

For MS SQL database, customers have the option of choosing enterprise edition, standard edition, web edition and express edition with different sizing in terms of a number of vCPU and vRAM available.
